Bien Aimée

 You will need two skeins of Julie Asselin Fino Simple to knit Bien Aimée. 

 

Bien Aimée is a modular, half-oval shaped lace shawl, worn with a small rolled shawl collar (Either folded in to give it structure to stand up in front of the neck if worn as a cowl/kerchief, or behind the neck if worn as a shawl over the shoulders).

It is started off a garter stitch tab and knit in stockinette lace from the neck to the border, which is simple lace worked on both sides.

Bien Aimée’s modularity means that you can easily adapt the shawl’s size to suit your tastes. 

This shawl is knit from charts, and should be blocked very tightly— very fragile yarns (such as woolen spun yarns) are therefore not recommended for this shawl.
